“My Love (is For Rascal Flatts)”
By: Teri Monahan
(To the tune of “(I can’t remember the title)” By: Randy Travis)
Well, I've hear these cute singers singin' 'bout how they can love,
Deeper than the oceans, higher than the stars above.
Well, I come from the country, and I know the Rascal’s are all
mine.
I know they make me laugh, and they’re stars, they’re the
brightest around.
I know I would do justice for the way I feel for them.
So I had to sing this song about all the things I knew.
My love is deepest for those Rascals.
Strongest for the Flatts.
Higher than the high notes they sing every now and then.
My love is purer than the sweat,
That falls on their sweet face.
And honest as the tunes on their CMT specials.
And longer than the songs by Rascal Flatts.
From the back roads to the headline shows with a million miles between,
There’s at least a million fans that love to sing along.
And every one is different, and every one's the same.
But no one can obsess more than the members of the Pound
Our love is deepest for those Rascals.
Strongest for the Flatts.
Higher than the high notes they sing every now and then.
Our love is purer than the sweat,
That falls on their sweet face.
And honest as the tunes on their CMT specials.
And longer than the songs by Rascal Flatts.
