“Always Something’...”

By: Teri “RF Girl” Monahan

(To the Tune of “There’s Always Something” By Joe Diffie)

Downtown, stoplight, green car rolls by.
What else can I do, but wonder if it's Joe.
Scanning the stations, wishin’ every song they play
will be to your debut soundtrack “Rascal Flatts”.
I should be over obsessing you by now, but every time I turn around...

There's always somethin' every day remindin' me.
Everyw
here I go, there's a memory.
Ready and awaitin' to catch me off guard,
There's no way to prepare my ways.
What I wouldn't give, what I wouldn't do.
Oh, I can’t just stop obsessing over you.
I can’t get enough of this love; I know this is more than nothin’.
’Cuz there is always something.

Lunch time, a new place.
Waiter says his name.

Why does it have to be, Gary?

Corner store, stop in.
someone ask, "Still obsessed?"
I say, “I know you know.
I really love those guys;
I’m never gonna forget them, ‘cuz I don't know how.
Cause every time I turn around...

There’s always somethin' every day remindin' me.
Everywhere I go, there's a memory.
Ready and awaitin' to catch me off guard,
There's no way to prepare my ways.
What I wouldn't give, what I wouldn't do.
Oh, I can’t just stop obsessing over them
I can’t get enough of this love; I know this is more than nothing.
’Cuz there’s always something.”

“A Rascal Fan List”

By Teri “RF Girl” Monahan

(To the tune of “My List” by: Toby Keith”)

Under an old brass paperweight is my list of things to do today
Go to the bank and take out that loan, put a Flatt dog on my car door
I cross `em off as I get `em done but when the sun is set
There’s still more than a few things left I haven’t got to yet

Go for a drive, say a little prayer
Take a deep breath of Rascal air

Put on my Rascal shirt and sing along
It’s time that I see my guys
Wade the stage and get a wave
Take a long a lost friend of mine
Sit on the porch and drink some Cherry Coke
Concert, that’s the next thing on my list

Wouldn’t change the course of fate but cuttin` the grass just had to wait
’Cause I’ve got more important things, like telling Rascals thanks for everything

I can’t wait for those hugs, I’m gonna get ‘em before I hit the grave
Because my chance finally came, I’m gonna get ‘em all today

When I go to my M&G, say “Thank you”
Take a deep breath of Rascal air
Tell ‘em “Here’s To You, thanks for ‘Movin’ On’”
I have to make sure to tell ‘em that
Wade the stage and get a wave
Take along a lost friend of mine
Sit on the porch and drink some Cherry Coke
M&G, that’s the next thing on my list

They always make me laugh till it hurts
Bring an extra 20 for another shirt
Call up my folks, tell ‘bout it
I have to tell ‘em what Jay told me

Stay up late with so much excitement
Gotta show ‘em what they mean to me
Catch up on all the things the others have said
Save for another show, the next thing on my list

Under an old brass paperweight
Is my list of things to do today

“All We Ever Wanted”

By: Teri “RF Girl” Monahan

(To the tune of “Keg in the Closet” by Kenny Chesney)

We had a dong named Rascal

Living in the front yard
He liked sleeping to the sound of “Shine On”

He’s a silly little dog that answers to

The names Jay, Gary, and Joe Don

A white frame house, a college town

A bunch of Flatt-heads always hanging around,
Waiting for them boys to come back
We tried to find something else to do
We went to class just to pass the time

Before our meet and greets

We have rascal Flatts CDs all over the floor

Left over from the night before when
We played them so much we need ones

We have all we ever wanted with those tickets in hand

That shiny guitar taught Joe Don to score
Jay’s there joking on the front porch
Gary taught us all a little more
About wanting to go for our dreams
And Joe Don and Jay did as too
Spring breaks down on the beach
For that hour and half,
we hoped it would never have to end

We went to class just to pass the time

Before our meet and greets

We have rascal Flatts CDs all over the floor

Left over from the night before when
We played them so much we need ones

We have all we ever wanted with those tickets in hand

Fans might go their separate ways
But we all will always love Rascal Flatts

We have rascal Flatts CDs all over the floor

Left over from the night before when
We played them so much we need ones

We have all we ever wanted with those tickets in hand

All Flatt Up

By: Teri “RF Girl” Monahan

(To the tune of Gretchen Wilson’s “All Jacked Up”)

Heyahhhhhhhhh
Five of the PM rolls around,

There’s a little old joint outside of town
I only got time for a couple of songs

And maybe some time to see if I can get a hug
The next you know the songs keep coming

Coors Lights are flowing, Here’s To You
All I really know is that I should be going,

But I’m soaking up the moment

I’m all Flatt up, all Flatt up
Don’t believe I’ve ever heard this much.
One thing I’ve learned when you get to see ‘em
Time sure flies when you’re all Flatt up

It was getting mighty close to
nine o’clock,

What the heck, I’ll hear one more song.

Then after that, they played my favorite,

But going to Mayberry might be too far

Cause its already after 10, just outta the blue,

I got to work tomorrow

The boss will understand, he likes them too,

Cause I see him over there next to the stage

Cause we’re all Flatt up, all Flatt up,
Don’t believe we’ve ever heard this much.
One thing we’ve learned when you get to see ‘em

Don’t look at the time when you’re all Flatt up

Don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here,
That’s what they said when they sang the last song.
Oh my God, its
2 o’clock,

Turn on my truck to hear Rascal Flatts

So I turned it up real loud and rolled down the windows

Sang along and so did everyone else

Cause two foot later we got out and sang some more

All the town folk got a good show

All Flatt up, all Flatt up
Don’t believe we’ve ever heard this much.
One thing we’ve learned when you get to see ‘em
Don’t drive you truck when you’re all Flatt up

Flatt up
(All Flatt up, all Flatt up)
oooooooooo

One thing I’ve learned when you get to see ‘em
Don’t look at the time when you’re all Flatt up.
One thing I’ve learned when you get to see ‘em……
Don’t drive your car
Don’t work the next day
Heck I would tell anybody where you are
When you’re all Flatt up
All Flatt up
All Flatt up
All Flatt up

Ain’t Much Fun (Without Those Rascals)
By: Teri “RF Girl” Monahan
(To the tune of “You Ain’t Much Fun” by Toby Keith)

I used to come home late and not a minute too soon
Singing Rascal songs, with a new t-shirt
You'd be mad as an ol' red hen, up all night wonderin' where I been
I'd look at you, “You know, you could’ve come”
You laughed out loud, I guess you thought it was funny
I Rascaled up, and I got to thinkin'
Boy you ain't much fun without those Rascals

Now I met you at a Rascal concert by the fence
We talked while we waited for them to come on
Too good wasn’t true this time ‘round
You could've died Rascalin', now you’re missin’ out
Now I got another concert tonight
Now honey you know you can come too
I Rascaled up, and I got to thinkin'
Boy you ain't much fun without those Rascals

Now I’m gettin’ Rascaled up for the show tonight
You pout on the couch, you don’t think you can come
All broke down, tail's been draggin'
But I told you once, I’ll tell you again,
Now I got another concert tonight
Now honey you know you can come too
I Rascaled up, and I got to thinkin'
Boy you ain't much fun without those Rascals
Yeah, I Rascaled up, and I got to thinkin'
Boy you ain't much fun without those Rascals

If another artist is mentioned in any of these parodies, I mean no harm. If I offend you, please don't take it to heart. It was meant to make you laugh, not cry. I hope you understand. I am also not Rascal Flatts or related to them, or Lyric Street Records in any way. I'm just a BIG fan. And lastly, I dont mind if you print off my parodies and share them with frineds, but I do ask you to give me credit. Please, and thank you. ~Teri~
